Timms Possum Traps have been used by Kiwi’s reliably for the last 30 years. The trap humanely kills possums and is safe to use around the house, on orchards and lifestyle blocks.
The possum trap is easy to set up – simply pull a string located at the back of the trap. The trap is constructed as a yellow plastic box with a hole in the front that the possum puts its head into to access the bait. Inside the box is a spring loaded bar that strikes the possum under the chin, cutting off the possum’s wind-pipe so the possum falls unconscious and dies from lack of oxygen. Set the trap up anywhere – just be careful of your domestic pets.
