Shipping
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation.
If an item is out of stock, due to an inventory error or being sold in-store at the same time as your order is placed online, we will contact you to ask if you would like for new stock to come in before sending your order or partially refund the amount for the missing item.
Courier
We currently only courier items on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at orders@livingrural.nz for a quote.
This is because of the large number of products and the very diverse range of sizes and weights. Our product database may be updated over time to include shipping dimensions and weight for automatic calculation, but this is not currently possible.
Local Delivery
We deliver using our own vehicle for $10 to the Wellington area, up as far as Otaki and over as far as Kaitoke (not Wairarapa).
Deliveries to the Hutt Valley are currently free to the following postcodes:

The following extra fees are charged for certain products:
- bales of hay/baleage: $2 per bale
- posts and timber: $30 flat fee (for a standard “trailer load” of timber, does not apply to truckloads of timber)
NOTE: We may adjust these fees and boundaries on a per-order basis based on actual road distance travelled from Pāuatahanui.
Deliveries will be made in 1 to 3 days, but may be scheduled to your area once per week depending on the number and location of orders. You will be notified of the day/time it will be delivered via email or SMS.
Group Buy Free Delivery
If you are part of a large stable or a group of locals that can regularly do a group buy please email orders@livingrural.nz and we can discuss a coupon that can be issued to those individuals to unlock free delivery to a single location.
Self Pickup
You can pick up orders directly from 15 Paekakariki Hill Rd, Pāuatahanui in the following time slots:
Mon – Thu: 0900 – 1700
Fri – Sat: 0900 – 1500

All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
Your payment is processed through eWAY Payment Gateway (eway.io/nz). Living Rural will not store or transfer any of your credit card information. All data is transferred using eWAY’s secure servers.
